Italy’s Deborah Compagoni became the first athlete to win 3 consecutive alpine gold medals as she dominated slalom skiing in the winter Olympics during the 90s. The Italian won gold in Albertville 1992, Lillehammer 1994 and Nagano 1998 to cement her status as a winter Olympic legend.
